Our goal is to create a supportive, respectful environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence. We offer our services both in-person and virtually (telehealth) to accommodate your needs. For patients located in the Houston area, the initial psychiatric evaluation must be completed in person at our office. After the initial visit, follow-up appointments and therapy sessions may be conducted remotely through our secure, HIPAA-compliant video portal, providing flexibility and convenience while maintaining your privacy and quality of care.
Meet our Team
Alfredo Gutierrez, MD
Dr. Gutierrez is a Houston-based psychiatrist with a passion for meeting patients where they are with curiosity, warmth, and clinical precision.
He earned his undergraduate degree at Rice University, his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, and completed his training at Mount Sinai and Texas Children's Hospital. He is double board-certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
Dr. Gutierrez specializes in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD, developmental disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma — across the full lifespan, with a particular focus on children, adolescents, and young adults. He brings over 8 years of experience in community psychiatry, including experience as a medical director, giving him a broad perspective on the systems and challenges that shape his patients' lives.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, he brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to caring for LGBTQ+ patients and families. He is also proud to offer services in Spanish, honoring the rich diversity of the Houston community.
